A way of notating 音乐 and 声 视觉 but without using 传统 记谱法 传统 记谱法 provides a 表演者 with instructions about the 种类 of 声 that they should 创作 When we 录制 声 we no longer need a 表演者 to follow our instructions we can 作品 directly with the 声 In order to 可视化 what is going on in the 声 we can look at the 声 波形 or its 频谱图 However these will only provide us with 科学 descriptions of the 声 能量 which might be quite different from what we actually 听

If we want to 理解 the 声 that we 听 and 关系 between the 声 we can draw 形状 and 质地（纹理、织体） to represent what it is that we 听 Because 声 have both 形状 包络 and 质地（纹理、织体） 音色 it is 可能 to draw them 视觉 A 图表 乐谱 is a 视觉 解释 of a 作品 of 音乐 It could be in black and white focussing on 明暗法 and 形状 or in colour Any 形状 or 质地（纹理、织体） can be used so long as you are able to consistently link the 声 with the 图像（描绘）

Most 图表 乐谱 will have a timeline running horizontally and tend to provide a rough indication of 音高 through vertical arrangements
